This page tells you what things we do for the village of Weaverham and surrounding areas.
The community Centre was built for the people of Weaverham for their enjoyment and use, please use it or it will fail. Saying that the hall continues to thrive due to number of people who pay to use it which is how it pays the bills, having no or limited funding from the various sourses that we find. As an example the recycling centre on the bottom car park raises many hundereds of pounds each year, this is due to the fact we receive 50% of any profits that are made.
Every Christmas we entertain around 120 pensioners of the village to a Christmas lunch with singers and music from local schools, this is give free with help from some generous local shopkeepers.
We also host a childrens Christmas party with games and plenty of food, santa comes and see's every child to find what he or she wants him to bring on Christmas day.
